Dave Bautista Adopts A Pit Bull Puppy. After being adopted by actor Dave Bautista, a 3-month-old pit bull puppy named Sage, who had had a difficult upbringing, will need nothing.
After learning of Sage’s situation, the former wrestler, who has a soft spot for America’s Pit Bull Terriers, immediately called the shelter to offer assistance.
Sage was brought to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay after being discovered eating rubbish by a kind stranger in a nearby cemetery (HSTB).
When the cute puppy approached her, the woman realised she was wearing a metal chain around her neck. She rushed the puppy to the HSTB in need of assistance.
Sage was inspected by the medical staff, wagging her tail the whole time, and was then prepared for surgery to remove the chain around her neck.
We saw that Sage had overgrown nails and skin conditions in addition to the chain. That someone could abuse her in this way astounded us. He denounced the homeless shelter.
David Bautista was one of the many who offered to raise the adorable little girl or showed interest in adopting her if she survived.
David said he would give $5,000 cash to the person who provided information that led to the arrest and conviction because he was furious that someone would abuse the helpless puppy. He will also receive a reward for catching the cruel person in addition to $1,500 from HSTB and $5,000 from Alvarez Injury Law.
David looked gruff but broke down when he saw the dog running towards him. He laughed and smiled broadly when the Sage approached.
The moment he stroked the dog’s head, they drew closer. Not only Dave, however, is thrilled to welcome his new family member.
While Sage is in his new daddy’s arms, he is beaming with happiness. The shelter announced Sage’s adoption to its supporters on Facebook.
Sage’s story convinced Dave that she and he belonged together. We are thrilled for Sage!
The young puppy, now known as Penny, will join the other two pit bulls rescued by Dave. He held Penny in his arms in a video he posted on Instagram to welcome her to his followers, saying: ‘She is about to enjoy her best puppy life ever.
