Fundraising for the weimaraner rambo. The man states that he feels broken (how can one not agree with him) as he sees her great companion, who is having a hard time.

An owner named Jaxon Feeley must pay veterinary bills of up to £20,000 to save the life of her dog Rambo.

The ‘little angel’ went into hypovolemic shock, an emergency condition in which a severe loss of blood or other fluids renders the heart unable to pump enough blood through the body.

Unfortunately, the 2-year-old Weimaraner breed has been in intensive care for ten days and is still not out of danger.

Jaxon, a prison officer, says he would ‘sell his house’ to keep his dog alive and has asked for financial help.

A gofundme fundraiser has started.

Jaxon shared his plight online and explained: “I am writing to ask for any little help you can give me to help bring my little angel home. Rambo is only two years old; he is a gorgeous soul in the world and loves nothing more than his big brother Rocky, running to grandma and grandpa’s and staying warm in the house while he licks everyone’s face.”

“She deserves a much better life than what is happening to her.”

Jaxon, who lives in Wigan, says she has “pretty much spent all her time at the vets” since Rambo first showed signs of illness on Friday, 20 January. He was sick all night, and by Saturday morning, he and his dog were already in the emergency room. But then, Jaxon was told she had undergone hypovolemic shock, which can cause organ failure.

However, her problems had only begun, as Rambo had also contracted gastroenteritis, causing her to deteriorate and become seriously ill rapidly. During the week, Rambo started vomiting, and the fluid flowed into his lungs.

According to Jaxon, the liquid led to his beloved dog developing severe pneumonia and a collapsed lung.

The situation seems to be getting worse.

“In the vet’s words, Rambo could not have been more unfortunate. The root cause is unknown, but Rambo has been taken to intensive care under 24/7 observation’.

“Veterinarians are continuously trying to drain fluids from Rambo’s lung, monitoring the infection inside the lungs and assessing the level of bacteria in the fluid being drained. Because of his medication, Rambo continues to vomit and has not eaten food for a week.

“The concern is that there is now a possibility that an abscess has formed in Rambo’s lung, which would require major surgery to remove. Unfortunately, veterinarians cannot assess whether or not this is the case for a few days, while it is hoped that Rambo will begin to respond to treatment.

However, if this is the case, and my greatest fear, the risk to his life is significant. I could never forgive myself if I failed to give her the best chance of surviving this horrible situation’.

In a desperate attempt to raise money, Jaxon launched an online fundraiser on gofundme. But, as he explained, unfortunately, ‘Rambo’s insurance covers a maximum of £6500.

She has been in intensive care for ten days, and the bill is approaching £20,000.
If the worst were to happen to Rambo, he would need major surgery; the cost of this surgery and subsequent care is something Jaxon must be able to give her little girl. But unfortunately, Jaxon is a prison officer, so there is no way to cover that amount.

Rambo is only two years old; he is her whole world to Jaxon and would be willing to sell his house to keep her alive. The man said: “I am broken watching this gorgeous little soul go through something so horrendous. Anything people can spare will make such a difference.”
