The project emerged organically following Vincent and Max's volunteer work with City Shelters in Los Angeles, where their collaborative spirit flourished. What's remarkable about this photographic journey isn't just the visual similarities achieved, but the thoughtful process behind each shot.

"Everything is a game for my Max," explains Flouret, describing his meticulous approach to acclimating his canine companion to the props. "If I needed a hat to walk around with him, I would prefer to buy it about two weeks beforehand so that he could play with it and get used to it."
