Usually, the dog is quite greedy for food, so he takes him to the vet. However, he never suspected that he had 16 golf balls in his stomach.
The man related, “One day, he had been sick, and there was a golf ball, but I never thought for a minute that it was because he had eaten it. I thought it was because we live near a golf course, and he had played with the ball. So I was horrified when the vets informed me that the endoscopy showed a blockage in his stomach.“
In addition, he added, The vets reported to me that they were golf balls, and I thought he must have swallowed one or two, but they replied, ‘No, he swallowed 16.‘
I couldn’t believe it. I’m not a golfer, so these were stray balls from the driving range he had found and eaten, which shows how good local golfers are.
Two-year-old Ben was rushed in, and David praised the “brilliant” veterinarians at Northwest Veterinary Specialists for their high-quality care. Fortunately, a two-hour operation saved the dog, and Ben is now back to his usual self.

David narrated, “They made me laugh when they offered me the bag of balls to take home after the operation. Of course, I can see the funny side now, but it was a dire situation then, and it was no laughing matter.”
